Yong Eun Yang, 51, of South Korea, tied for fourth place at the Senior PGA Championship ($3.5 million purse), a major on the U.S. Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour Champions 메이저놀이터.

Yang shot a 2-under 70 in the final four rounds of the tournament on Monday morning (Sept. 29) at the par-72 Fields Ranch East Golf Course in Frisco, Texas, USA. Yang is tied for fourth place with an 11-under par 277 total. She is four strokes behind Steve Stricker (USA) and Padraig Harrington (IRL), who tied for first place in a playoff. It was Yang’s third top-10 finish of the season and his best in 10 events this year.

Yang became the first Asian player to win a major at the 2009 PGA Championship and has been playing on the PGA Tour Champions, the senior tour, since last year, with his best finish being a second-place finish at last year’s Ascension Charity Classic.

Stricker won in a playoff. Stricker shot 3-under-par in the fourth round to catch Harrington by two strokes and earn his first Senior PGA Championship victory. Stricker now has 12 wins on the PGA Tour and 14 at the senior level. He has three wins this year. Choi lost two strokes on the day and is tied for 26th at 2-under par 286.
