Nam Ki-il, head coach of professional soccer’s Jeju United, has been named Manager of the Month.
The Korea Professional Football Association has announced that Nam Ki-il, who led Jeju United to four wins and a draw in five games last month and helped the club jump from the bottom of the K League table to second place, has been named Manager of the Month.
Jeju United surged up the standings last month with four wins and a draw, a win percentage of 90 percent, and 13 additional points, scoring 12 goals in five games while conceding just three.
This is the fifth Coach of the Month award for Nam Ki-il since taking over as Jeju United’s head coach.
