Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in talks to sign Marco Asensio (27, Real Madrid)

“Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are in talks to sign Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio as a free agent,” according to ESPN.

Asensio, who has played for Real Madrid since the 2016-2017 season, suffered a cruciate ligament injury in the 2019-2020 season that sidelined him for 11 months.

He returned to action in 2022-2023, making 50 appearances in all competitions, including 30 in the league, totaling 12 goals and eight assists.

Asensio’s contract with Real Madrid runs until June. Real have offered Asensio a new contract, but he has been unhappy with his playing time, mainly as a substitute, and has yet to sign a new deal. 먹튀검증

According to reports, PSG have expressed interest in Asensio. “Asensio has decided to leave the club at the end of the season and Aston Villa, Juventus and AC Milan have recently shown interest in him. However, the most attractive offer came most recently from PSG.”

“Asensio’s agent Jorge Mendes and PSG director Luis Campos have a good relationship and PSG need to fill the void left by Lionel Messi, who is likely to leave this summer. Neymar will also leave the club and now PSG are looking for a striker to play alongside Kylian Mbappe.”

“As a result, Asensio has had the best season of his career and would be a very interesting option if he were to become a free agent.”
