South Korean Rob Refsnyder (Kim Jung-tae) has signed a contract extension with the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox signed Left fielder to a contract worth $1.8 million in 2024 and $2.5 million in 2025 with a club option, MLB.com and other U.S. media outlets reported on Wednesday (local time). 메이저사이트

Left fielder, who signed for $1.2 million this year, batted .299 (70 for 234) with a .393 on-base percentage in 90 games with Boston.
He had a .457 on-base percentage and an OPS of .850.

In 33 games this year, he posted a team-leading .408 slugging percentage. With runners in scoring position, he batted .370 (10-for-27) with a .981 OPS.

Against left-handed pitching since the start of 2022, Lefsnider is batting .362 (42-for-116) with a .980 OPS.

Against left-handed pitching this season, Lefsnider has a .468 OPS. In 14 games in May, Lefsnider batted .400 (14-for-35) with a 1.014 OPS, four doubles and nine RBIs.
