The Korean women’s soccer team, led by coach Colin Bell (52), is preparing for the World Cup in earnest.

The Korea Football Association said, “The women’s soccer team will have two friendly evaluation matches in Zambia and Korea in April. The match dates are April 7 and 11, and the venue and time have not yet been decided.”

Since both games are held during the women’s national team A-match period set by the International Football Federation (FIFA), there is no problem with foreign players participating. It will be the first time the women’s national team will face Zambia, and the first time they will play against an African team in the country.

Zambia is a participating team in this year’s Women’s World Cup. They are drawn in Group C to face Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.
